Actiu News
Miami is Actiu’s first strategic stop in the US from where it can open its doors to new markets in this country, promoting above all its furniture lines for offices and collective work with a quality seal and European design.
The company has presented its first space in the American country, a venue with more than 400 square metres in which it will show off its solutions for work and contract environments, and that, from now on, will help the company to promote its internationalisation strategy and to establish itself within the United States.
The inauguration of this new exhibition space was attended by the president and founder of Actiu, Vicent Berbegal, who recently received the “European Entrepreneur of the Year†award from the European Business Awards, accompanied by his son, Vicente Berbegal, in charge of the Australian market. The launch party welcomed established businessmen from the area and other opinion leaders such as architects, interior designers or facility mangers, who were able to enjoy a varied sample of the rich Spanish cuisine.
“Our initial objective is to tackle space design projects that provide solutions for the needs of each company. The idea is for this showroom to generate trust with companies, architects and interior designers looking for tailor-made solutions,†says Vicente Berbegal.
The new showroom is located at 6505 Blue Lagoon Drive, just a few metres from the Miami International Airport, thus being able to quickly and efficiently host all contacts and clients travelling from other parts of the continent. The build is LEED Gold certified for its responsible use of natural and energetic resources, and puts an emphasis on the use of natural light, its well-thought-out distribution and the presence of green spaces. In this regard, it’s worth noting that Actiu’s headquarters in Spain also holds this same Leed Platinum certification.
The build is LEED Gold certified.
The showroom will be used to show off the new trends in the office world, with spaces arranged to foster communication and team collaboration. It also has areas that guarantee privacy and concentration, as well as areas for learning and socialisation. These trends, captured under the Cool Working concept developed by the firm through its projects, try to create custom offices for each company where the people’s well-being is the most important value.
In addition, this showroom will also serve as a connection and communication tool for all distributors in Latin America.
“We want to encourage our distributors in Latin America to come to this space, meet up with architects looking to invest or do business all over the continentâ€, says Julián Duque, Director of the Miami Showroom.
Actiu also has its own showrooms in other major cities such as London, Paris or Sydney and is present in more than 90 countries around the world. Actiu’s main values include quality, design, innovation, progressive internationalisation, the promotion of productive policies that are respectful of the environment and the well-being of individuals.
“This step undoubtedly represents a firm commitment to the US market, which is highly competitive and difficult, but offers great opportunities for European design and know-howâ€, Actiu CEO, JoaquÃn Berbegal.
